I'm wondering how insane I have to be
to consider making this offering from Elann. I absolutely love it, but all those squares, all those tails to weave in. Would I hate knitting when I was done? Or would I still respect it in the morning?
I love to organize and compartmentalize. This is were I keep my knitting, crafy, domestic side of me. I have an almost degree in PoliSci/Antropology so my space for social commentary can be found here: http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-kH5kZLs6fqiNeXqRiGPl_Js-?cq=1

I'm actually terrified of this pattern, but it's because I dislike weaving in ends. I also dislike tiny mitered squares, I found, after trying to do the heart sachet from Interweave knits. What about doing a bit of it? If you're rolling, keep going and if not, you have a, well, a piece of knitting.
It would be amazing done. And clearly, someone did it. What size needles is it?
6 and 7 US sized needles-- I guess not too bad. And 12 rows (or is it rounds?) but like you, I hate the ends.
I like your idea of non-commital to the project until I give it a trial run-- works into the rest of my life perfectly.
